Marriage Goals--68 years

Last weekend we went down to my grandparents to celebrate their 68th wedding anniversary and it was so much fun! Almost everyone was there and Tammy, Kaylee, and Kara were there. It doesn't always happen that we are all together. We had such a good time. Major shout out to Ben for driving us down there--we've been doing lots of faraway trips recently and have a few coming up!

The living room became playroom central. Tammy brought toys and we brought toys and the girls just played and played. Caroline loved having someone older to play with and someone younger. Kaylee was so good playing with the little girls---it takes a lot of patience for that.

My uncle brought the most delicious pork ever, we had salads and fruit, and cornbread. It was so good and the company was even better. The little girls went in and out playing and playing. Aren't cousins the best?

It was so sweet to celebrate my grandparents. They love each other so much and it's fun to reflect on all that they have accomplished together. They are kind and funny. My grandpa just beams when he looks at my grandma. So thankful for them.

I saw a quote on facebook saying "a cousin is a little bit of childhood that can never be lost" and how true is that.

Kevin and Christene were there--and Sarah!

The girls and the grandmas!

Beautiful yellow roses! The arrangement was huge!

My mom grabbed Caroline for a minute or two--she was too busy playing to see Grams

All three little girls with great grandparents

Kara Grace has the BEST faces!

They could have stayed on the swing all day.

Anniversary celebration and cousin time--it doesn't get better than that.
