My favorite coloring buddy. Also the rad and happy coloring book makes us really really really happy. Also all of our moving boxes make me happy. Ben jokes that he is discovering a hidden talent he never knew I had...the ability to find lots of awesome boxes. haha! I think we are all done collecting because we scored some more good ones today!
Grams has Caroline subscribed to a few magazines and it's fun for Caroline to get mail just for her. She ran home and hopped in the chair to read this one...it was all about giraffes (perfect for her). Also, most of our cushions are flipped over because Caroline builds towers or forts out of them and then she puts them up. I love it.;)
Caroline hopped in her chair and requested to paint with the "oval paints". We've never called them that and it's just so cute that that is how she refers to them.
Caroline got her first pair of tennis shoes. After constantly cleaning her shoes out from mulch and sand playgrounds we decided that this Florida girl--soon to be Texas girl needed some real shoes. I love that they are purple and glittery--totally Caroline. Also...scootering to get the mail...the best! ((moving side note. The walks we've been taking around our complex make me miss it already. It's been the perfect place for our family.))
My faaavorite part of the day we got her shoes was picking up socks. I picked up an all white pack and Caroline said "Mama, those do not look like my socks" and then she searched and saw the brightest pack and said "Ohhhhh mama, those look like my socks!" SO we ended up with two packs of socks because she loves wearing socks at night too and needed to refresh her stash. HOWEVER, the purple ladybug socks are her favorite.
Collecting all of the pillows to build towers.
PJ Masks...Caroline's favorite shows and we are seriously tempted to buy these.
Grocery shopping with poster board for projects. Caroline was calling it her house and she would "snore" in the cart because she was "sweepy" and needed a nap. Ha!
Caroline woke up this morning and said "Hey mom! I've got a great idea!!!" I can't remember what the idea was but I just love how she woke me up. She is sunshine!
Caroline was all about the tiger statue and not so much the TWO tigers that were out today! Between the tigers and the show the spider monkeys put on it was a fun morning...and an hour at the splash pad. With a few new exhibits it's definitely a little more exciting at the zoo!
AND this sums up our week. Ben had a few ER shifts and we are all sleepy. And by we I really just mean Ben and I. He's definitely the most tired. He had a night shift (11-7) last night and a required school meeting today...that luckily he was able to watch online. I just have a hard time sleeping when he is gone and worried that he's driving a ways on little sleep--or no sleep. Only a few more shifts and one test and then he is DONE.
